The official start of production of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class‘ modell was celebrated at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz with more than 3,000 visitors and employees. Daimler AG’s chief executive Mr. Olaf Källenius was also among the guests. The „G“s manufacturing started in May at the Magna Steyr plant. The official world premiere took place in Detroit at the beginning of 2018 and the Europe premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show was in March.
