Privacy Policy

Duty to inform statement

Protecting your personal data is a particular concern of ours. We therefore handle your data exclusively according to the legal requirements (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we provide you with information about the key aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Contact us
If you contact us with the form on our website or by email, the data you enter will be used for the purpose of processing your enquiry and stored for 12 months in case of follow-up questions. We do not disclose these details to anyone else without your consent.

Applications
If you have applied to us as a result of a job vacancy ad or send us an unsolicited application, your data will automatically be deleted after six months. Please notify us expressly if you would like a shorter storage period.

Cookies
Our website uses “cookies”. These are small text files which are stored on your end device through your browser. They do not cause any damage to your device.

We use cookies to make our website user friendly. Some cookies are stored on your end device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser when you next visit our website.

If you do not want this to happen, you can adjust your browser settings so that you are notified of the use of cookies and only allow them in individual cases.

If you choose to deactivate the cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to show map information. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the map functions by visitors to websites. You can find more information on data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy at https://www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/. You can also change your data protection settings in the privacy centre there so that you can manage and protect your data.

Use of Facebook
Our websites integrate plug-ins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can recognise the Facebook plug-ins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” on our website. An overview of the Facebook plug-ins is provided here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our websites, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. In this way, Facebook receives the information that you visited our website with your IP address. When you click the Facebook “Like button” while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our websites to your Facebook profile. If you do so, Facebook will be able to assign the visit of our websites to your user account. Please note that we, the website provider, do not have access to the content of the data transferred or its use by Facebook. For more information, please refer to the Facebook privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign the visit to our websites to your Facebook user account, please log out from your Facebook user account.

Use of YouTube
Functions of the YouTube service are embedded on our websites. These functions are provided by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When the website is accessed, the embedded videos place cookies on the user’s website. Anyone who has deactivated the use of cookies for the Google advertising program, can also reckon on these kinds of cookies also not being used when accessing YouTube videos. However, YouTube also uses non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you have to block it in your browser.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, these are text files stored on your computer allowing them to analyse how you use our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In case of activating IP anonymisation on this Website, however, your IP address is first abbreviated by Google within European Union member states or other states which are part of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the provider of this website, Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activity and to provide further services which are connected to the use of this website and of the Internet for its operator. IP addresses which Google Analytics transmitted from your browser will not be combined with other data from Google. By changing your browser settings accordingly, you may prevent cookies from being stored; however, we point out that you may not have full access to all website functions in this case. In addition, you may prevent any data created by the cookie and relating to website usage on your part (including your IP address) from being transmitted to and being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

For more information on the terms of service and data protection, please see https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en. We point out that Google Analytics was extended to the code “anonymise IPs while tracking” on this website to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). The user data is kept for the period of 14 months since the last usage of our website.

With prior notice, the participant is offered the chance to enter the respective competition within the defined period. If there are justified reasons for exclusion from the competition, we reserve the right to exclude people from the competition at our own discretion.

The winner acknowledges that the storage of their data falls under the statutory storage period.
