More than 3.500 guests were visiting the 7th „Steirerball“ in Vienna’s Hofburg. The Steirerball is one of the highlights in Vienna’s ball season, the stomping-ground for smart dirndls and lederhosen, VIPs and new ministers. Sausage stands, scrambled eggs with core oil, styrian wine route, barrel-tapping ceremony, dance floors with an extensive music programme for everybody and the midnight event with the Spider Murphy Gang – popular meeting places for the visitors.
Winter flair was also included: The host region „Haus im Ennstal“ welcomed the visitors with snow groomer, chairlift and the „Hauser-Alm-Arena“ and the Austrian Emperor got his ski-outfit out.
